We are aware that some Internet Pharmacy Companies are mail dropping homes in our area advertising their services. This poses a real risk to GP surgery dispensaries.
We are very concerned that if patients stop using our dispensary for repeat prescriptions, it will no longer be viable.
Our dispensary currently provides a valuable service to many patients. We are allowed to dispense medication for any registered patient living more than a mile from their nearest high street pharmacy. We can only continue this service as long as it is well used by patients.
